White Willow is helpful for horses that suffer from rheumatism, arthritis, connective tissue inflammation, fevers, colic, cramp, and it can also be useful for addressing pain.

The major constituent is salicin which converts to salicylic acid on the body. This is one of the original sources of aspirin. In its herbal form willow is a gentler but more effective equine therapy.
